Cohoctah Township
The day begins with a pancake breakfast from 7 to 9:30 a.m. at the Oak Grove Untied Methodist Church, 6688 Oak Grove Road. The township’s holiday parade begins at 11 a.m. at Cohoctah Center. Events from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. include a craft sale downtown, a display of antique farm machinery and cars, free face painting and a sidewalk drawing contest. Following the parade, the Calvary Bible Church, 1389 Elm St., will have a pig roast. Details: 517-546-8307.

Fowlerville
The Independence Day Parade takes place downtown on Grand River Avenue at 7 p.m. Bands will perform in Community Park on North Grand Avenue and fireworks, which are visible from the park, as well as from Centennial Park and the Fowlerville Fairgrounds, begin at 10 p.m. Details: 517-223-3454.

Gregory
The parade begins at noon and a chicken barbecue follows at 12:30 p.m. From 5 to 9 p.m. there will be live music, kids’ games and a balloon artist. It all takes place next to the Unadilla Township Hall, 126 Webb St. Details: 734-498-2502.
